Dance Workshop in Spain
With Wiebke Droege (Germany) and Ilanit Tadmor (Israel)
A 10 days workshop in Arlequi, Spain

This international workshop will now take place for the 4th time. It is a 10 days meeting of dancers from many countries, in which we shall dance and spend time together in northern Spain, Arlequi, which is located near a small town named Banyoles on the shores of a beautiful lake. It will take place in an old farm which, for the last 20 years, has been hosting workshops for artists from all over the world.
Every day we shall have morning sessions of two hours in techniques, and afternoon sessions that will be dedicated to improvisation dances and contact improvisation. The studio is open for our use day and night. We shall have open jam sessions for contact-improvisation dances, movement workout in nature, evening performances, and we are all open to proposals and initiatives of the participants.
Breakfast and dinner will be served by a cook, and prepared with the help of volunteers from the participants. Everyone in invited to help out.
The participants are invited to sleep on a covered roof, or to rent rooms.

Wiebke and Ilanit have been cooperating for several years now. For the last four years they conduct a this joint workshop in Arlequi, Spain. They both work on research of improvisation and on contact techniques as a creative tool for developing a personal language and as a performing art. They employ different techniques, like contact, movement-notation, aikido, yoga, modern dance, new dance and release techniques.

Wiebke Droege (Frankfurt) performs and teaches improvisation for the last 11 years in Europe. In the last few years she has been managing the dance department of the Frankfurt University (Germany)

Ilanit Tadmor (Tel Aviv) performs and teaches in Europe, Taiwan and Israel. She won the performer award at the ”Shades of Dance” competition for young choreographers, and co-founded the “Improbiza Dance Company”. Today she is the artistic director of her own group - BUA Dance Company.

Cost: 400 € per person, including lodging. The cost of food will be about 80 € per person. This does not include traveling costs.

בית ספר עצמאי למחול

 סדנת אימפרוביזציה לרקדנים ולמוסיקאים

9-22 ביולי, בשעות 18:30 – 21:30
סדנה יחודית בהשתתפות רקדנים ומוסיקאים אשר יאלתרו ביחד ויצרו דיאלוגים במחול ובמוסיקה. חיפוש אחרי תקשורת בין מוסיקאי ורקדן דרך עולם האימפרוביזציה, מציאת והמצאת שפות שונות וחדשות בדרך אל החיבור, תוך כדי לימוד מחודש של המושגים הקשבה והתבוננות. הסדנה מתאימה לבעלי רקע במחול ולתלמידי מוסיקה/נגנים.

מנחים:
אילנית תדמור - יוצרת עצמאית, כוריאוגרפית ורקדנית. בוגרת האקדמיה למחול ותנועה על שם רובין, זכתה בפרס הביצוע בפסטיבל  "גוונים במחול" בשנת 2001, והשתתפה בפסטיבל "הרמת מסך" 2002. מופיעה ומעבירה סדנאות בישראל, טייוואן, גרמניה, ספרד ורוסיה.
ניר יניב - ווקליסט, בסיסט, מלחין, מעבד ואיש סאונד. חבר בלהקות Vocaliens ו-Funkapella. הופיע בפסטיבל הג'ז באילת, בפסטיבלי בומבמלה, בראשית ועוד, ומשתתף בפרויקטים מוסיקליים שונים. משתף פעולה עם אילנית תדמור בהפקות מחול שונות מזה ארבע שנים.
